Who voted no complaining shocked


Dodoma / Dar. Some members of the Constituent Assembly who voted no were forced to leave Dodoma and Zanzibar return to claim the threats they received from their peers.


One of the delegates, Salma Said said yesterday evening that he and fellow members have refused to respond to the call of the Chairman of the National Assembly, Samuel Sitta on the Consultative Council for questioning regarding the vote due to threats they received from members colleagues have decided to leave Dodoma.

These threats have been reported shortly after Sitta create Consultative Committee of nine people led by Vice-Chairperson, Samia Hassan solution addressing the votes cast by a cross seven members that regulate the availability quorum to approve the proposed Constitution.

In mainland who voted no to the whole draft is a Member of the Central planter (Chadema), Said Arfi with 30 members from Zanzibar secret voting.

"After voting no today (yesterday), they appear delegates, including (name we retain it for now) and began kutuzongazonga," said Salma.

"They told us that we have left until the last minute when we said no to the whole draft to eat free money, they say the best we withdrew and became (United Citizens Constitution)."

"We have decided to leave to return to us, we will come back to parliament because these threats are increased now," said Salma.

Efforts to find fellow members to discuss the threats were fruitless, but the Parliamentary Secretary, Yahya Khamis Hamad acknowledged receipt of the complaint and that he regards as a political issue.

He said the members have said they threatened to undergo what, but they told her that they had stayed there (parliament) for the money.
